Turkish Oregano Oil (Origanum oil, CAS 8007-11-2), 70–80% carvacrol, conventional and organic, supplied wholesale by Zyntex. Essential oil for animal feed, softgels, savory flavors and natural preservatives. CoA and SDS.
Oregano oil is a yellow to amber liquid with a strong, warm, spicy odor, steam-distilled from the leaves and flowers of Origanum species. Turkey is a leading origin, especially for Origanum onites and O. minutiflorum, which give oils with high carvacrol content, typically 70–80%, together with thymol.
In addition, feed additive producers use oregano oil, often in encapsulated or premix form, in poultry, pig and aquaculture diets, where demand has grown since antibiotic growth promoters were banned in the EU. Similarly, producers of nutritional products use it in softgels, flavor producers use it in savory flavors, and natural preservative and cleaning product producers use it for its antimicrobial carvacrol. Use in feed must follow each market’s feed additive rules.
Notably, related essential oils in our range include Bay Laurel Leaf Oil, Basil Oil and Litsea Cubeba Oil.
Typical uses include, for example:
🐔 Animal Feed
Natural antibiotic alternative.
💊 Softgels

🍕 Flavors
Savory notes.
🧽 Natural Preservatives
