Morpholine Product Overview
Morpholine (C4H9NO) is a clear, colorless liquid with an amine odor that boils at about 129°C and mixes with water. Its volatility is close to that of water, so it distributes evenly through steam systems.
In addition, power plants and industrial boilers use it to raise pH and prevent corrosion in steam and condensate lines. Similarly, rubber chemical producers use it to make accelerators, pharmaceutical producers use it as a building block for APIs such as linezolid, gefitinib and timolol, agrochemical producers use it for fungicides, and wax and polish producers use its fatty acid salts as emulsifiers.
