Description
Bay Laurel Leaf Oil (Laurus nobilis leaf oil, CAS 8002-41-3) is a spicy, fresh essential oil used in flavors, perfumes, soaps, cosmetics and aromatherapy. Zyntex is a wholesale supplier and distributor of steam-distilled Bay Laurel Leaf Oil of Turkish origin, conventional and organic, with a CoA as well as an SDS for every lot.

Bay Laurel Leaf Oil Product Overview

Bay laurel leaf oil is a pale yellow to yellow liquid steam-distilled from the leaves of Laurus nobilis, the true bay laurel. Its main component is 1,8-cineole (about 30–60%), with linalool, sabinene, pinenes and eugenol. Turkey is one of the world’s main producers of bay leaves and bay laurel oil. It should not be confused with West Indian bay oil from Pimenta racemosa.

In addition, flavor producers use it to season meat products, sauces and soups, and fragrance producers use it in fresh-spicy perfumes, men’s colognes, soaps and air fresheners. Similarly, cosmetic and natural soap producers use it in hair and skin care. Because it contains small amounts of methyl eugenol, use levels are limited in cosmetics.

Notably, related essential oils in our range include Oregano Oil, Linalool and Lavender Extract.
