Description
Linalool (CAS 78-70-6) is one of the most widely used fragrance ingredients, with a fresh, floral, lavender-like odor, also used in flavors and as a vitamin intermediate. Zyntex is a wholesale supplier and distributor of natural-identical Linalool with min. 97% purity, with a CoA as well as an SDS for every lot.

Linalool Product Overview

Linalool (C10H18O) is a clear, colorless liquid with a fresh, floral and slightly woody odor that boils at about 198°C. It occurs naturally in lavender, coriander, rosewood and many other plants; most commercial material is synthetic.

In addition, fragrance producers use it in a very wide range of perfumes, soaps, detergents and cosmetics, and flavor producers use it in citrus, floral and spice flavors. Similarly, chemical producers use it as an intermediate for vitamins A and E and for other aroma chemicals such as linalyl acetate. Because oxidized linalool can cause skin sensitization, it is labeled as a fragrance allergen in the EU above set levels and is supplied stabilized.

Notably, related aroma ingredients in our range include Lavender Extract, Benzyl Alcohol and 4-Methylanisole.
