Biotin (vitamin H / B7, CAS 58-85-5), min. 99% and 1%/2% dilutions, supplied wholesale by Zyntex. B vitamin for feed premixes, infant formula and fortified foods, nutritional products and hair and nail cosmetics. CoA and SDS.
Biotin (C10H16N2O3S) is a white crystalline powder that is slightly soluble in water. It remains needed only in very small amounts, so producers commonly use diluted forms such as 1% or 2% biotin on a carrier for accurate dosing.
In addition, feed producers add it to premixes for pigs, poultry and horses, where it supports hoof and skin quality. Food producers also use it in infant formula and fortified foods, and producers of nutritional products use it in tablets, capsules and gummies, under the regulations of each market. Similarly, cosmetic formulators use it in hair and nail care products.
Furthermore, it belongs to the B-vitamin group together with Vitamin B1 Thiamine Hydrochloride and Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3).
Typical uses include, for example:
🐎 Animal Feed
Vitamin premixes for pigs, poultry as well as horses.
🍼 Food Fortification

🥤 Nutritional Products
Ingredient in tablets, capsules as well as gummies.
💆 Cosmetics
