Gentamicin Sulfate Product Overview
Gentamicin sulfate is a white to off-white, hygroscopic powder that dissolves freely in water. Producers make it by fermentation with Micromonospora purpurea; it is a mixture of related components (C1, C1a, C2, C2a), and its strength appears as potency of at least 590 µg per mg.
