Ethyl Acetate Product Overview

Ethyl acetate (C4H8O2) is a clear, colorless, highly flammable liquid with a fruity odor that boils at about 77°C. It dissolves many resins and evaporates quickly, with lower toxicity than many other solvents.

In addition, ink and packaging producers use it in flexographic and gravure printing inks and laminating adhesives, and coating producers use it in lacquers. Similarly, pharmaceutical producers use it for extraction, crystallization and tablet coating, food producers use it to decaffeinate coffee and tea, and cosmetic producers use it in nail polish and remover.

Notably, related solvents in our range include Acetone, Ethanol and n-Heptane.
