Description
Bakuchiol (CAS 10309-37-2) is a plant-derived active often called a natural retinol alternative, used in anti-aging serums, creams and eye care. Zyntex is a wholesale supplier and distributor of cosmetic-grade Bakuchiol with min. 98% purity, with a CoA as well as an SDS for every lot.

Bakuchiol Product Overview

Bakuchiol (C18H24O) is a pale yellow to amber, oil-soluble liquid extracted and purified from the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia (babchi). High-purity grades are tested to keep psoralens, which can sensitize the skin to light, very low.

In addition, cosmetic formulators use it at about 0.5–2% in serums, night creams, eye creams and oils as a gentler alternative to Vitamin A derivatives such as retinol, because it is less irritating and stable in light. Similarly, it is used in products for sensitive skin and in formulations marketed as suitable for daytime use. It combines well with Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) and Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Salt).

Notably, related cosmetic actives in our range include D-Panthenol and Alpha Arbutin.
