Tropicamide Product Overview
Tropicamide (C17H20N2O2) is a white crystalline powder that is slightly soluble in water and freely soluble in ethanol. It melts at about 96–100°C.
Ophthalmic producers use it in eye drops that dilate the pupil and temporarily relax focusing for eye examinations and some procedures.
