Food-grade Stevia Extract (steviol glycosides, CAS 57817-89-7, E960) supplied wholesale by Zyntex. Plant-based sweetener 200–400 times sweeter than sugar for beverages, dairy, tabletop sweeteners and bakery. CoA and SDS.
Stevia extract comes from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana, a plant native to South America. Producers extract and purify the sweet compounds, called steviol glycosides, mainly stevioside (CAS 57817-89-7) and rebaudioside A, to obtain a white powder. In the EU, steviol glycosides carry the E number E960.
Depending on purity and composition, stevia extract is about 200–400 times sweeter than sucrose and provides practically no calories. It is heat-stable and pH-stable, so it suits beverages, dairy, bakery and confectionery. At high levels it can show a bitter or licorice-like aftertaste; higher rebaudioside A grades reduce this effect.
Formulators often blend stevia with other sweeteners to round off the taste, for example with Xylitol for bulk and mouthfeel or with Sucralose and Acesulfame for a more sugar-like profile.

Which stevia grades do you supply?
Grades differ in total steviol glycoside and rebaudioside A content. Please specify your required composition, for example Reb A 97% or a stevioside-rich grade.
How can the aftertaste of stevia be reduced?
Higher rebaudioside A grades and blends with other sweeteners such as erythritol, xylitol or sucralose give a cleaner, more sugar-like taste.
How can I get a price and documents?
Prices depend on quantity, packaging and destination. Contact us with your required volume to receive a quotation together with the CoA and SDS.
