High-purity Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone, CAS 303-98-0), 98–101% HPLC, fermentation-derived, supplied wholesale by Zyntex. For nutritional softgels, tablets and powders, cosmetic creams and pharmaceuticals. CoA and SDS with every lot.
Coenzyme Q10 (C59H90O4), also called ubiquinone or ubidecarenone, is a yellow to orange crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water and melts at about 48–52°C. It occurs naturally in almost all cells of the body. Commercial CoQ10 is mainly produced by yeast or bacterial fermentation, which gives the natural all-trans form.
Producers of nutritional products use it in softgel capsules, tablets and powders, often in oil-based or water-dispersible forms to improve absorption; regulations in each market govern the claims allowed. Cosmetic formulators use it in creams and serums as an antioxidant ingredient. The reduced form, ubiquinol, is available as a separate, more oxidation-sensitive grade.
Because CoQ10 is sensitive to light and has a low melting point, it is stored cool and protected from light. For ingredients often combined with it, see Alpha Lipoic Acid, L Carnitine and Fish oil.

⚠️ Safety & Handling: Not classified as hazardous under GHS. Avoid dust formation and contact with eyes. Store in tightly closed, light-resistant containers in a cool place, as the substance has a low melting point and is sensitive to light. Always consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full classification and handling instructions.
What is the difference between ubiquinone and ubiquinol?
Ubiquinone is the oxidized, more stable form. Ubiquinol is the reduced form, which is more sensitive to oxidation and requires special handling.
Is your CoQ10 produced by fermentation?
Yes. It is produced by microbial fermentation, which gives the natural all-trans form.
