Pharmaceutical-grade Procaine Hydrochloride (CAS 51-05-8) with ≥99.0% assay, supplied wholesale by Zyntex. Ester-type local anesthetic API for injectable, veterinary and procaine penicillin formulations. CoA and SDS with every lot.
Procaine hydrochloride (C13H20N2O2·HCl) is the hydrochloride salt of Procaine Base. It is a white crystalline powder that is very soluble in water and melts at about 153–157°C. It belongs to the amino ester group of local anesthetics, together with Benzocaine and tetracaine.
Its water solubility makes it suitable for injectable formulations. It is used in local anesthetic preparations, in veterinary medicine, and as a component of procaine benzylpenicillin, where procaine is combined with penicillin G to form a long-acting salt. Compared with amide anesthetics such as Lidocaine Hydrochloride, procaine has a shorter duration of action.
Zyntex supplies it from qualified API producers, with pharmacopoeia compliance and lot-specific documentation available before ordering. The API is supplied only to companies licensed for pharmaceutical use in their country.
