Gibberellic Acid Product Overview

Gibberellic acid (C19H22O6) is a white crystalline powder produced by fermentation with the fungus Gibberella fujikuroi. It is a plant hormone that promotes cell elongation, fruit set and seed germination, and it is effective at very low doses.

In addition, growers use GA3 formulations to enlarge and loosen bunches of seedless grapes, improve fruit set and delay rind aging in citrus, increase cherry size and firmness, and break seed dormancy in vegetables and rice. Similarly, maltsters use it to speed up barley germination, within the approvals of each market. Products are applied as soluble powders, tablets and liquid formulations.

Notably, related agricultural products in our range include Potassium Humate, Azoxystrobin and Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP).
