Description
Doramectin (CAS 117704-25-3) is a long-acting avermectin antiparasitic supplied as a veterinary active pharmaceutical ingredient for injections and pour-ons for cattle, sheep and pigs. Zyntex is a wholesale supplier and distributor of pharmaceutical-grade Doramectin to licensed veterinary producers, with a CoA as well as an SDS for every lot.

Doramectin Product Overview

Doramectin (C50H74O14) is a white to off-white powder that is practically insoluble in water. It is a macrocyclic lactone of the avermectin family, produced by fermentation, and is closely related to Ivermectin and Abamectin, but acts longer.

In addition, veterinary companies use it in 1% injectable solutions and 0.5% pour-ons against roundworms, lungworms, lice, mites and ticks in cattle, sheep and pigs; a single treatment protects for several weeks. Because it is very toxic to aquatic and dung organisms, labels include environmental precautions. Related veterinary antiparasitics in our range include Fenbendazole, Levamisole HCl and Toltrazuril.

Notably, Zyntex supplies doramectin only to licensed veterinary pharmaceutical companies.
