Description
Dipropylene Glycol (DPG, CAS 25265-71-8) is a low-odor, low-toxicity solvent used mainly as a fragrance carrier, and in cosmetics, resins and plasticizers. Zyntex is a wholesale supplier and distributor of fragrance-grade (low odor) and industrial Dipropylene Glycol, with a CoA as well as an SDS for every lot.

Dipropylene Glycol Product Overview

Dipropylene glycol (C6H14O3) is a clear, colorless, nearly odorless, slightly viscous liquid that mixes with water and many oils. It is a mixture of isomers formed during the production of 1,2-Propylene Glycol.

In addition, fragrance producers use fragrance-grade DPG, with very low odor, as the standard diluent for perfume oils, reed diffusers, air fresheners and candles. Similarly, cosmetic formulators use it as a solvent and humectant in deodorants and skin care, resin producers use industrial grades in unsaturated polyester and alkyd resins, and plasticizer and polyurethane producers use it as a raw material.

Notably, related ingredients in our range include Glycerine, Propylene Carbonate and Benzyl Alcohol.
