Cyfluthrin Product Overview
Cyfluthrin (C22H18Cl2FNO3) is an amber, highly viscous mass or partly crystallized oil that is practically insoluble in water. It is a type II pyrethroid with an alpha-cyano group, which gives it high potency and long residual activity on treated surfaces.
Formulators use it in emulsifiable concentrates, wettable powders and suspension concentrates for crop protection, in residual sprays for public health and professional pest control against cockroaches, ants and mosquitoes, and in some veterinary products. The enriched active isomer mixture is sold as beta-cyfluthrin.
