Pharmaceutical-grade Amoxicillin + Potassium Clavulanate blends (co-amoxiclav, CAS 74469-00-4) in 2:1 to 8:1 ratios, supplied wholesale by Zyntex to licensed producers. For tablets, suspensions and veterinary products. CoA and SDS.
The product combines amoxicillin, usually as the trihydrate (CAS 61336-70-7), with potassium clavulanate (CAS 61177-45-5) in defined ratios such as 2:1, 4:1, 7:1 or 8:1. Using a pre-blended API saves formulators a difficult blending step, because clavulanate is extremely sensitive to moisture.
Pharmaceutical companies use these blends in film-coated tablets, chewable tablets and powders for oral suspension; for injection, sodium salts are combined in sterile form. The single components are also available as Amoxicillin 3-hydrate and Clavulanate Potassium. Veterinary producers use the combination in tablets and injectables for companion animals.
Production must take place under very low humidity and in dedicated beta-lactam facilities. Zyntex supplies these blends only to licensed pharmaceutical and veterinary companies. For a related penicillin–inhibitor combination, see Piperacillin Tazobactam.

⚠️ Safety & Handling: Beta-lactam antibiotics that may cause allergic skin and respiratory reactions. Handle in dedicated facilities under low humidity with gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection. Store sealed in a cool, dry place, because clavulanate degrades rapidly with moisture. Always consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full classification and handling instructions.
Which ratios are available?
Common ratios are 2:1, 4:1, 7:1 and 8:1 amoxicillin to clavulanic acid. Please state your ratio and dosage form when requesting a quote.
Why use a pre-blended API?
Clavulanate is very moisture-sensitive, and pre-blended material reduces handling and blending steps in the formulator’s plant.
How can I get a price and documents?
