Ammonium Metavanadate Product Overview
Ammonium metavanadate (NH4VO3) is a white to pale yellow crystalline powder that is slightly soluble in cold water and more soluble in hot water. When heated, it decomposes to vanadium pentoxide, ammonia and water.
Catalyst producers use it to impregnate supports for vanadium-based catalysts, for example in SCR DeNOx catalysts and in the oxidation of sulfur dioxide to sulfur trioxide in sulfuric acid production.
