BP/USP-grade Ambroxol Hydrochloride (CAS 23828-92-4) supplied wholesale by Zyntex to licensed producers. Mucolytic API for syrups, tablets, sore throat lozenges, inhalation and injection solutions. CoA and SDS with every lot.
Ambroxol hydrochloride (C13H18Br2N2O·HCl) is a white to yellowish crystalline powder that is sparingly soluble in water. It is the active metabolite of Bromhexine Hydrochloride.
In addition, pharmaceutical companies use it in syrups, oral solutions, tablets and extended-release capsules in the mucolytic class. Similarly, it appears in lozenges for sore throat, because it also has a local anesthetic effect, and in inhalation and injectable solutions. Another mucolytic API in our range is Carbocysteine.
Notably, Ambroxol is among the most widely sold cough and cold APIs in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Zyntex therefore supplies it in pharmacopoeia grades, only to licensed pharmaceutical companies.
Typical uses include, for example:
🥄 Syrups
API for pediatric as well as adult syrups.
💊 Tablets and Capsules
API for immediate as well as extended release.
🍬 Lozenges
