Manganese(II) Sulfate Monohydrate Product Overview
Manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate (MnSO4·H2O) is a pale pink crystalline powder that dissolves easily in water. Feed and fertilizer grades contain at least 31.8% manganese, whereas battery grades need very low levels of impurities such as iron, calcium and heavy metals.
In addition, feed producers use it as the standard manganese source in premixes for poultry and livestock, and fertilizer producers use it to correct manganese deficiency in soils and in foliar sprays. Similarly, battery material producers use high-purity grades with Nickel Sulfate and Cobalt Sulfate to make NCM cathode precursors, and chemical producers use it to make other manganese compounds.
