Lithium Sulfate Monohydrate (CAS 10102-25-7), technical and high-purity grades, supplied wholesale by Zyntex. Lithium salt for specialty glass and ceramics, quick-setting cements, battery research and laboratories. CoA and SDS.
Lithium sulfate monohydrate (Li2SO4·H2O) is a white crystalline powder that dissolves easily in water. Unlike most salts, it becomes less soluble as temperature rises.
In addition, glass and ceramic producers use it as a lithium source for high-strength and low-expansion glasses and glazes. Similarly, building chemistry producers use it as an accelerator in quick-setting cements and mortars, and battery researchers use it as a lithium source and in electrolyte studies. Laboratories also use it in protein crystallization.
Furthermore, for the water-free form, see Lithium sulfate anhydrous; other lithium compounds in our range include Lithium carbonate and Lithium hydroxide.
Typical uses include, for example:
🔬 Glass and Ceramics
Lithium source for specialty glasses as well as glazes.
🧱 Building Chemistry
Accelerator for quick-setting cements.
🔋 Battery Research
Lithium source as well as electrolyte studies.
🧪 Laboratory
Reagent for protein crystallization.

⚠️ Safety & Handling: Harmful if swallowed and causes eye irritation. Avoid dust formation and contact, and also wear gloves and eye protection. Store in tightly closed containers in a dry place. Always consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), because it contains the full classification and handling instructions.
What is the difference between the monohydrate and anhydrous form?
The monohydrate contains one molecule of water and suits most aqueous uses, whereas the anhydrous form suits water-sensitive processes.
Why is it used in cements?
Because lithium ions accelerate setting, small amounts produce quick-setting mortars.
How can I get a price and documents?
Prices depend on quantity, packaging and destination, so please contact us with your required volume. We then send a quotation together with the CoA and SDS.
